Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking
If the system’s sensors detect a potential collision with a car or pedestrian in front of you, a warning flashes and an audible alert sounds. * Also, the brakes will precharge and increase brake-assist sensitivity to provide full responsiveness when you do brake. If you do not take corrective action and a collision is imminent, the brakes can automatically apply.
*Driver-assist features are supplemental and do not replace the driver’s attention, judgment and the need to control the vehicle. Pre-collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking detects pedestrians, but not in all conditions, and can help avoid or reduce a collision. It does not replace safe driving. See Owner’s Manual for details and limitations.
